The excursion takes you along the Amalfi Drive to Positano with a short stop at a panoramic terrace where you can admire the breathtaking scenery.
You will then continue on to Sorrento, one of the most famous places in the province of Naples. You will have time at leisure to discover the town, to do some shopping and to visit an inlaid woodwork factory.
There is an optional lunch in a Restaurant, then the excursion continues on to Herculaneum. The ancient town was covered by a layer matter mixed with mud during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D After extensive excavations, the remains of a town suggesting the presence of rich inhabitants were uncovered.
These include bronzes, marble statues and silver objects. You will return to the hotel after the visit.
