Every Saturday and Sunday from June to September and also on all days in August and in September, there will be a ban on driving on the roads to and from Amalfi.
Cars with even-numbered number plates will not be allowed to circulate on even-numbered days.
Cars with odd-numbered number plates will not be allowed to circulate on days with odd dates.
The ban is valid between 10am and 6pm.

The affected road is the SS163 Amalfi coast road that connects all the towns on the coast from Vietri sul Mare to Positano.
In Amalfi, it is not possible to arrive or depart by car without driving along this one road.
We are happy about this restriction because it will limit the influx of excursionists at weekends.
Hotel ‘residents’ will be able to leave or arrive in the morning before 10am and in the afternoon after 6pm.
Those who then come without a car, as the majority of our guests now do, can only solve any problems in the best possible way.
