Whole day guided tour by deluxe motorcoach. Pick-up from our hotel. Pompeii was destroyed by the eruption of Mont Vesuvius in 79 A.D. and buried by a seven meter layer of lapilli and ash.
The visit to the ruins will give you the opportunity to see many of the well preserved artifacts which are proof of the prosperity of the town in the past.
After the visit, there is an optional lunch in a Restaurant and the excursion continues to Vesuvius. You will be taken up 3.280 feet by bus and will then be accompanied on foot by a local guide to the crater of the volcano.
A visit to a cameo and coral factory will take place before the return journey.
