Amalfi has always been one of the most popular destinations for those who love beach holidays. Thanks to our beautiful beaches and wonderful climate, with sunny days and afternoon breezes you can often enjoy the beach right up to the month of October.
All of the beaches on the Amalfi Coast are small and pebbly and the sea is deep and rocky, rich in fauna and marine flora. There are no sandy beaches in the area.
Our hotel is in the centre of Amalfi on the sea front. On the rocks, across the road from the hotel, we have a sun deck with sun beds, umbrellas and a shower. This structure is reserved for our guests and is available from mid-June to mid-September.
There are two main beaches in Amalfi. The Marina Grande has both a free beach and private bathing establishments. The beach at the end of the sea front (Lido delle Sirene) has a private bathing establishment. Both are easy to reach on foot or by the local electric bus.
There is a boat service which leaves from the port and goes back and forth to the nearby beaches: Santa Croce and Duoglio. These are both free beaches but do have bathing establishments for those wishing to hire sun beds and umbrellas. A short distance from the hotel you can also hire boats, motorboats and sailing boats with or without a skipper. Enjoy an unforgettable day at sea in search of the exclusive dovetail or visit the boundary/outskirts of the Punta Campanella marine reserve in front of Capri.
